General Suggestions

Got some? I'd like to hear.

Some things I'd like to do, or get done with:
-Modification of the "registration" page.
-Addition of a rules sticky for each sub-forum
-Modification of the "FAQ" page
-Creation of a series of user groups
-A +18 warning page.
-Appointing moderators and whatnot

(If anyone is willing to help with those, please say so)

How about a profiles sub-forum, for posting descriptions, pictures, or links to said items for the channel regulars?

That's actually a pretty good idea... What category do we stick it in?

Maybe a "meta" category would work. You can stick forums like this in it too, and put it at the bottom of the list. You could also put in a "channel happenings" forum (or simply have a site announcements one where you'd put those in).

You might also want to rename the various categories and forums with more interesting names to personalize the place, like "Sexbot 9000's Ultra Mystery Fun Time Horror House" (I don't know either) for er, one of the RP forums. If you can, change the titles for admins and mods too -- something like "Couch Lint Ball" or what not. It's little things, but eh.

You might want to trim the amount of forums you have -- more tends to spread people out too thin.

As an aside, what do you and co. really want to do with this spot and the associated channel? It seems like a general social hangout, and that's fine, but there's a lot of competition there. More focus might help get things going; a spread of seed topics would assist that. Just putting a forum out there is usually not enough of a catalyst to get much going.
